About Cacia's Bakery
Cacia's Bakery is an italian deli in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 1526 W Ritner St, Philadelphia, PA 19145, which places it among the local businesses of Philadelphia that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 AMβ6 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Cacia's Bakery at (215) 334-1340; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is caciabakery.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 479 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian deli in Philadelphia and suggests consistent service.
Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Joe Cacias blessed us not only once but twice. A couple guys from VA. Parked in the loading dock area and he didnβt get us towed. Then blessed us with a few slices of slices of pepperoni. The sauce is the seller! You ainβt gettin that sauce anywhere! And the customer service was top notch! Thank you for a great experience!

I ordered 4 slices of Pizzazz pizza on Uber Eats, it was horrible! This was shocking to me since my family has gotten all different types of pizza for more than 50 years every Friday. Don't know if it was the container it came in or what but it was rubbery.

Ran in to grab some cold pie (what my kids call Cold Sicilian square pizza/pie,) on the way to my sons football practice for ROMAN CATHOLIC. Itβs been since 2001ish since I grabbed a box of pizza from them and it could not have been better. My kids are super picky & I am a food snob, ( Iβve owned my own pizza places since 1999,) so we have high standards. I grabbed two red, two white, two cheese, two artipeggio, and two pepperoni. The BEST. The pizza sauce was zest & sweet in the same bite. My kids had two slices each. And my kids were quiet while they ate. The two women at the counter were very nice and outgoing. I wish more of the world would stay just as Caciaβs has stayed. Nostalgic. Thank you ladies.

I see their products frequently at my ShopRite and have been really wanting to try the tomato pie at my ShopRite. The only reason I haven't is because I wasn't sure if I would like it or not so I didn't want to commit to getting the whole thing. My friend and I decided to drive over there today and try them out by getting a slice. She got the white pie and I got the tomato pie. She said hers was decent and tasted like garlic bread. I really liked the crust on mine but not the tomato sauce. I'm not sure what it was about it but I didn't like it. We just felt like both pies were just ok. The person working the counter wasn't unfriendly or friendly, just neutral. I have tried their bread in the past and that was pretty good.

Cacia's bakery is an ABSOLUTE must when you are in Philly! Very small bakery that sells different breads, bakery items, and sheet pan pizzas. You can see how long the bakery has been around from just looking around inside, especially the oven! Parking can be a problem during the rush, but we have lucked out the couple of times we've gone. The star of the show is the tomato pie. When we walked in we were greeted by a lovely lady and a man that came out from the back working the oven. Told them I was there for the tomato pie and he said wait, I'm pulling a fresh one out. I cannot even start to tell you how flavorful it was! I literally think about it all the time! Dough is absolutely cooked to perfection and the sauce is something | have never tasted before. Absolutely delicious! My biggest regret is not getting the entire pan! 100% recommend!!
